Helping you learn more about Stamped concrete
hardscapes.
Do you like how wood looks, but dislike
the idea of dry rot, or constant water damage? What about tile? Too
fragile? Have bad experiences with brick decay in the past? How would
you like the strength and durability of concrete with the aesthetic
appeal of brick, tile, shale, or even wood? Stamped Concrete can offer
exactly this, and at a much lower price then actual slate, or tile. It’s
becoming very popular.
This method can be used widely, and in varying styles and colors to
create entire landscapes at a fraction of the cost. You can include not
only simply stamping, but different coloring, etching, and staining to
give a brilliant affect. One of the first steps in creating this type of
landscape, however, is the coloring in the concrete it’s self. Concrete
Hardener Color is often used. While mixing the concrete, admixtures were
applied to color the material it’s self, not simply stain it. This also
ads to the structural integrity of the concrete, making it harder and
more sturdy, making them perfect for anything from a footpath to a
driveway.
